9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
• 90,000 SMEs have at least one financial product with our banks. • More than 11,600 of our clients are women-led SMEs. • We have directed COP $51 trillion in credits to SMEs and community development.
8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
- We are one of the largest private sector employers in Colombia, with more than 70,000 employees.
- We have brought more than 15 million Colombians into the banking system.

We contribute to dignifying healthcare services in the country for all people, supporting cancer research and treatment through the CTIC.

- Of the more than 71,000 jobs we generate, 54.3% are held by women.

10: Reduced Inequalities
- We have promoted the productive inclusion of more than 15,000 older adults and supported more than 670 entrepreneurships led by this same population.
- Our social portfolio amounts to more than COP $X trillion, allocated to support MSMEs, Social Interest Housing (VIS) and Priority Housing (VIP), projects that facilitate access to or improve social services, and the inclusion of traditionally underserved populations.
6: Clean Water and Sanitition
Through the Misión La Guajira project, we contribute to ensuring that underserved populations in the country have access to drinking water:
- We have delivered water access solutions in 52 communities, with 39 recovered wells, 2 newly built wells, and 21 water purification plants.
- 1,900 families (approximately 13,000 people) now have access to water, of which 1,500 families have access to water suitable for human consumption.
13: Climate Action
- We have developed the climate strategy for Grupo Aval and its entities, identifying all business risks and opportunities, upon which we will set targets and develop actions to meet them.
- All our entities measure their carbon footprint and we have offset more than 6,440 tonnes of CO2.
